Alicante airport transfers from Alicante airport to the city center, Torrellano, Elche, Benidorm and Murcia
Once you visit Alicante, you can choose among several forms of Alicante airport transfer.
You can use the services of car rental Alicante agencies, take an Alicante taxi or have an adventure with Alicante airport bus.
You should take the bus only if you want to save money and don’t mind waiting a bit. The price is just 1,55 euros.
Alicante airport transfers:
The bus stop No.30 is placed in front of the parking area. Just exit the terminal building, cross the road and you are there. The bus number is C-6. Be aware that this is NOT a special airport bus, but rather a normal bus of public Alicante transport. It does not go directly to the city center – there are a lot of bus stops on the way. Sometimes it also passes through a nearby town of Torrellano.
The bus timetable is a bit rare. It comes every 40 to 50 minutes and you are never sure for how long you are going to wait for it. If you are “lucky”, you will have enough time to enjoy the sunshine. Once you are on board, it takes between 30 and 40 minutes to come to the center of Alicante. However, the trip is not boring. You can enjoy nice views over the Urbanova suburb and the Mediterranean sea on the right side, as well as of the El Palmeral park on the left side. Passing through the city center, the bus ends on Plaza del Mar – a bus stop near Hotel Melia at the end of the Explanada promenade.
If you want to use the bus C-6 to go to the Alicante airport, you can take it to the Plaza del Mar bus stop. Later on, it goes through Rambla avenue and Alfonso X El Sabio avenue passing El Mercado Central (Central Market). There are bus stops also on the Plaza Luceros circus, Paseo Soto street (close to El Corte Inglés department store), and in front of the Alicante bus station.

Transfer from Alicante to other cities
Alicante airport bus to other nearby cities is also available. If you are going to nearby Elche or Arenales, you can take one of SuBus buses. Here are the timetables:
to Elche
Monday to Friday: 07:10, 08:10, 09:10, 10:10, 11:10, 12:10, 13:10, 14:10, 15:10, 16:10, 17:10, 18:10, 19:10, 20:10, 21:10 and 22:10.
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 07:10, 09:10, 11:10, 13:10, 15:10, 17:10, 19:10 and 21:10.
to Arenales
Monday to Friday: 06:35, 07:35, 08:35, 09:35, 10:35, 12:35, 14:35, 16:35, 17:35, 18:35 and 20:35.
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 06:35, 10:35, 14:35 and 18:35.
Finally, you can also take buses from Alicante to Benidorm and Alicante-Murcia. The bus stops are all grouped together and the services are offered by ALSA company. The bus to Benidorm departs at each full hour. The bus to Murcia departures every two hours at an odd hours and 15 minutes (see the figure). Traveling to both of the cities takes about 1 hour.
