If you are ill or does not feel well while you are in Spain, use this list of Spanish medical phrases.

Podría llamar a un médico, por favor? – Could you call a doctor, please
Podría pedirme hora con el médico? – Could I make an appointment with a doctor?
No me siento bien. – I dont feel well.
Me siento mal. – I feel sick.
Tengo resfriado. – I have got a cold.
Me duele la cabeza. – I have a headache.
Estoy enfermo. – I am ill.
Me duele el estomago. – I have stomach ache.
Tengo fiebre. – I have got a fever.
Me encuentro (muy) débil. – I feel (very) weak.
Estoy mareado. – I feel dizzy.
Tengo la gripe. – I have the flu.
Tengo una infección. – I have an infection.
Tengo dolor. – I have pain.
Es un dolor agudo. – It is a sharp pain.
Es un dolor leve. – It is a dull pain.
Es un dolor constante. – It is a constant pain.
Sólo me duele al tocarlo. – It only hurts when I touch it.
Puede darme algo contra el dolor? – Can you give me something for the pain?
Tiene algo contra el resfriado? – Do you have anything for a cold?
Necesito algunas pañuelos de papel. – I need some (paper) handkerchiefs.
Me pica. – It itches.
Me duele la espalda. – I have got back ache.
Tengo dolor de garganta. – I have a sore throat.
Tengo dolor de oídos. – I have sore ears.
Tengo dolor de muelas. – I have a tooth ache.

Llame una ambulancia! – Call an ambulance!

Medical Spanish Phrases: What the doctor could say

Que molestias tiene? – Which problems do you have?
Que hay? – What is going on?
Cuánto tiempo hace que tiene estas molestias? – How long have you had these problems?
Toma medicaments? – Are you taking any medication?
Tiene fiebre? – Do you have a fever?
Padece alguna alergia? – Do you have any allergy?
Está embarazada? – Are you pregnant?
Sigue alguna dieta? – Are you on diet?
Desnúdese, por favor? – Get undressed, please.
Descúbrase el brazo. – Roll up your sleeve.
Respire profundamente. – Breath deep.
Abra la boca. – Open your mouth.
Le duele esto? – Does it hurt?
Es la primera vez que pasó? – Is this the first time this has happened?
He aquí una prescripción para algunas tabletas. – Here is a prescription for some tabets.
Voy a recetarle unos antibióticos. – I will prescribe you antibiotics.
Tomad una, tres veces al día. – Take one, three times a day.
No debe salir. – Stay indoors.
Tiene que guardar cama. – Stay in bed.
Tiene que guardar reposo. – You need to rest.
Le voy a enviar a un hospital. – I am sending you to hospital.
Recomiendo que vaya al hospital. – I advise you to go to hospital.
Le voy a enviar a un especialista. – I am sending you to a specialist.
Tiene que hacerse radiografías. – You need to have some X-rays taken.
Hay que operarlo. – You need an operation.
